Many of us are familiar with the words of this ancient Gaelic benediction..........

"May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May God hold you 'til we meet again."

These words become the text for the first verse of this hymn, beautifully set to music by Rita Heatherington.  The second verse by the composer is a lovely melody for a beloved benediction......for those who are Irish, and for those who are Irish for the day!
